In the last few months, I have been putting a lot of thought into the future of Crystal Reiki Wellness. Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have really struggled to find a healthy balance between work, home, relationships, and self-care. I have re-examined my business plan and made some changes to simplify things in a way that I believe will be easier to balance with the rest of my life going forward. I will be rolling out the following changes throughout the next month or so.
Reduced Number of Articles - I currently try to release a new article every week, though I have missed a few weeks this year. I will be cutting back and publishing my articles bi-weekly rather than weekly. I also hope to have more guest authors in the future to take some of the pressure off myself to bring you quality content. Coming up with a new article every week has become challenging and there have been weeks I was not really happy with the quality of what I have released, but felt I had to release something just to stay on schedule. I feel that cutting back will make it easier for me to continue to publish quality content consistently so that you know what to expect.
A Change in Session Options - I have been offering one-hour and half-hour sessions. This just seemed to be what most practitioners were doing, and I set my offerings and prices to be similar to other practitioners. I have found that often I feel intuitively an hour session should be over sooner but keep channeling Reiki to be sure to provide what has been paid for. Just as often, I have felt a session needed to be longer than the 30 minutes paid for, so have continued to work until I felt intuitively it was time to stop. Because of this, Reiki and Crystal Reiki sessions will soon be offered with no specific length so that I may follow my intuition freely. There will be one set price for each service and the session will continue from the scheduled appointment time until Spirit lets me know it is time to stop.
Products and Projects - I will be assessing the analytics on all my current products, both those for sale and offered free. Products that aren’t generating much interest will be eliminated. Future projects will be inspired by the products that are already generating interest or selling well. Project development will be scheduled from September through April. I will no longer try to work on projects from May through August as I wish to devote more time to my family while my kids are off school for the summer.
I want to continue to serve my community and believe that these changes will make it easier to do so.
