With Memorial Day approaching I thought it would be a good time to share the crystals that I have been using to support myself through the loss of my sister. Grief is natural and it is important to let ourselves feel the emotions as they arise within us. Nothing can (or even should) heal grief, but there are crystals that can support us as we go through the process of grieving.
Here are five crystals that have helped as I’ve grieved:
1. Rose Quartz
This gentle pink stone carries the energy of love. It comforts the heart and reminds you to be kind to yourself as you heal. Rose Quartz supports emotional release and helps you keep your heart open, even when it hurts.
How to Use:
Hold it over your heart during prayer or quiet moments.
Keep it near your bed or under your pillow for gentle comfort while you sleep.
Wear it as jewelry when you need extra support.
2. Apache Tear
Apache Tear is known for helping people process grief. It supports emotional release in a gentle, steady way and offers a feeling of safety while you grieve.
How to Use:
Carry it in your pocket or hold it in your hand when you're feeling heavy.
Place it beside a photo or keepsake of your loved one.
Use it during journaling to help emotions come to the surface.
3. Amethyst
Amethyst brings calm, peace, and spiritual connection. It helps ease anxiety and supports restful sleep. It can also help you feel connected to Spirit and to loved ones who’ve crossed over.
How to Use:

Keep it by your bed to help you sleep and dream peacefully.

4. Smoky Quartz
