During hard times, Reiki can help us reconnect with peace, love, and joy at the deepest level. Making a few small changes to your daily Reiki routine can help you come back to that inner sense of lightness and joy, no matter what’s happening around you.
Here are three ways to start cultivating more joy through your Reiki practice:
1. Start a Joyful Reiki Ritual
Joy grows when we create space for it. One of the simplest ways to bring joy into your life is to begin each day with a short, joyful Reiki ritual. Take a few deep breaths while setting a clear intention to invite joy into your day. Choose a song, prayer, or inspirational writing that lifts your spirits, then give yourself Reiki while focusing on it. This small habit can shift your whole day.
2. Use Affirmations and Reiki Hand Positions for Joy
When you combine affirmations with Reiki, you’re activating both your energy body and your subconscious mind to support change. Here’s a simple self-Reiki sequence that can help you focus on joy:

Hands over the heart:
“I open my heart to joy.”Hands over the solar plexus:
